Please let us know where to get this seat it looks awesome. The stock seat on the XDiavel S is ok but I can feel the back of the seat putting pressure on the lowest part of my back

Seen lots of pictures and videos of the RSD Ducati and semi stock XDS with RSD seat but I cannot find the RSD seat for stock XDS for sale anywhere. Anybody know where I could purchase the seat?

RSD = Roland Sands

The link is correct you try and order one. Still no stock!
Like you said out of stock. I bought the Ducati Super Comfort Seat and for $330 I was a little pissed it does not include heat shield. Fortunately I work in aviation and have tons of aluminum tape to make my own shield. I will let you know how comfortable or uncomfortable it is. With stock seat, it's not bad except minor pressure on tail bone and numbness in butt after 45 minutes. I am 5'10, 205lbs, so I should know quickly after 45 - 60 min ride if there is an improvement.

I find the stock one ok for myself I can go 2hour-ish I got the super comfort IT is way way more comfy than stock. Still not perfect but getting there.
I like how its wider and a little thicker Plus the concave part of the seat isnt as pronounced.. i found that to be a little too much on the stock

Picked up the super comfort at lunch. Rode home the long way. About 45 minutes. Mix of freeway and city streets. Surprisingly the 20ish mm of extra foam actually improve the ride of the harsh suspension. I like the wider forward portion under your thighs as well, similar to Corbin and Sargent seats. That being said however it was only slightly more comfortable than the stock seat.

I know.... It will break in and I need to ride it more but I don't think it's has earned is name as Super Comfort seat. Maybe just comfort seat. Also, I have an S model and my stock seat is very attractive with mix of suede and leather. This seat for $300 looks like a pain stock seat not an upgrade.

I am a little bias because I have had Corbin and Sargent on my previous sport bikes and they were more comfortable than this. Unfortunately those two companies do not offer an XDiavel seat, yet. Only custom service.

I will ride the Super Comfort some more and see if it improves.

Update: after a few days swapped original seat and it felt pretty much the same as Super Comfort. The Super Comfort seat has a wider seat pan and less pressure on the rear which you can feel. The foam is supposed to be thicker but only slighlty. Bottom line, was it more comfortable, yes but only slightly. Not worth $300+ Returned it and the got my money back, no questions asked. Good Dealership!

Also my friend at the Dealer gave me one of the Ducati accessory catalog and I found there 5 seats available. Low, Stock, Super Comfort, Raised Rider (20mm), and Super Raised Rider (50mm). I think there is a misconception that Super Comfort is the same as 20mm Raised Rider.

I was looking to do the custom route. at 6'6" 300lbs I think a custom seat is in order. Does anyone have a suggestion or does everyone go to their local place?
The stock seat is very light weight an flexible and in fact must flex to mount. Corbin makes their seat pans rigid. They are heavier but much more comfortable in my opinion, especially for a big guy like yourself. I'm sure there are others maybe closer to you that use a similar method.

Hi, Anyone already has the RSD Seat and can tell me how comfortable it is? There is a Premium and a Premium comforn on the new Price List. Looks like Ducati will do some changes on the 2018 too. should be more comfortable (seat/Suspension)?

same here, I just peeled off the heat shield material from my original seat and moved it over to the comfort seat. What's interesting to me is there IS a heat shield included on the raised optional seat you can order...

Guys...
This seat thing seems to be a bit confusing as to what exactly you will get.
See attached photos.
One is from a dealer's website where a photo of the seat is shown.
Another photo is from another dealer's website where they actually show two completely different seats in the same photo but quote the same part number.
Another photo is of my bike showing this premium seat on the bike.
Anybody considering getting this seat should probably make sure they hands-on see the seat in person to be 100% sure of what they are getting, or if it's ordered sight unseen you should confirm with the vendor which seat you will be getting. Both seats look good but you might have a preference of one over the other.

There are two seats:
1) Raised rider seat. Thanks to a new ergonomic design, 20 mm raised compared to standard seat, it improves rider comfort.
2) "Supercomfort" rider seat. Designed for the most demanding riders. Its oversized design and careful selection of materials allow you to ride in full relax even on long trips.

I am little bit worried about "oversized design" --- is it wider?

Also will be nice to have some pictures when tank bag is installed...
So is the tall rider seat also considered a comfort seat?
Is it in between standard and supercomfort?
