“Innovation is at the heart of Michelin’s strategy. We invest in the evolution of our motorcycle tire ranges in order to always be the reference in the field for both riders and OEMs. After challenging market conditions in 2023, we have a strong conviction that motorcyclists are eager to return to the road and track. We have worked closely with motorcycle manufacturers to ensure that Michelin tires, thanks to their performance, contribute to the riding pleasure of every rider and meet the specificities of the new motorcycle models presented at the EICMA show. As a result, we are immensely proud of the development team that has designed these three new products unveiled at the end of the year. Many new tires for different market segments will be unveiled during 2024, all around the world: Michelin Power 6, Power GP 2 and Anakee Road are just the beginning of the Michelin’s technical revolution!”

The new Michelin tyres will be available for retailers to order from November 2023 and will be sold to customers from January. Press tests will be held in early 2024. All the information on the sizes, benefits and technologies integrated into the new MICHELIN tyres will be provided on this occasion.

The new Michelin tires will be available to retailers through North American authorized distributors starting January 1, 2024.

Projected pricing for 240/45 x 17 - 220.15 EUR

I think the original picture that @Ghorgon63 posted was actually the Anakee Road which threw a few of us off...

It's available somewhere.
First shoot from someone that gets new set of Power 6

I was just talking to the Michelin distributor here in NZ, apparently the Power 6's are due here mid February.
I'll be interested to see what the price is seeing as i've just fitted the pair of Rosso III's I had sitting in the shed....

Nice, I may need a set by about then.....
Were you out at Whangamomona at the weekend?
We'd just been out playing on the gravel backroads around there and pulled up just as a group was leaving and my mate pointed out that there was a Diavel in the group....

Hi, yep a few of us went out there for lunch and a beer :)
Great day out, had trouble keeping up with my mate on his KTM 1290 on the saddles though.... no probs when the road opened up a bit

Bugger, wish i'd timed it better and made the intro!

It certainly was a great day for it, and yeah some of those corners through the saddles are a bit of a handful on the Diavel! 😂😜

Well, bit the bullet and backordered a set, have been promised a sharp deal so we'll see how that goes.....

I put michelline Power 5s on my xds out of necessity when I got a puncture. With the Pirellis I had a wide chicken strip on the front tyre and almost ran out to the edge on the rear.

With the Michelle's I am out to the edge on the front with wide chicken strip's on the rear and the bike turns more sharply and seems more stable. I feel the rear tyre is less flat than the pirelli.

I don't think they were Power 5's you had as they didn't make a 240/45 x 17 in the 5, perhaps it was a Power RS? Your experience with Michelins seem to be the same as I've read about Power RS's which unfortunately weren't available when I got my Diavel. As far as I am aware the only other tyre Michelin made to fit our bikes was the Pilot Power 3 which by all accounts weren't as good as the Power RS.

I'm pretty happy with the Pirelli Diablo Rosso III's which were a huge improvement over the Rosso II's but would like a bit more mileage and better wet weather performance which seems to be Michelin's strong points.

Everything else is so beautiful.

I'm really sorry you have to put that hideous billboard of a license plate out back !!
Cheers. They tyres have made such a huge difference to the feel and handling of the bike.

The billboard - It's actually quite a lot smaller than the 'legal' reg plate and I've just never been a fan of the original, down to the left with that weird rear tyre hugger thing :)

Well, not sure when I'm going to get my Michelin's seeing as the distributor here and their retail arm have both gone into receivership!

Hopefully it doesn't take long for someone else to pick up the brand.
