I think that they all are Termi exhausts.. some go to Ducati parts and get the upmap along with a Ducati parts number. The price goes up because it officially becomes a Ducati performance part.. others are just sold by Termi as a Xdiavel exhaust and that’s why there is a price difference

Personally I beleive this explantion to be 100%. Once Ducati get it they repackage put the up map in the box and slap on their hefty dealers profit. If you can buy direct from Italy and add a Rapid bike or Power commander then why not. It would be even better than the map on the UP Map stick plus if you bought a Rapid bike unit you can reuse on any other bike that you might get in the future

That's a possibility except that when you go to the Termi website it lists the Xdiavel exhaust but says that it can only be purchased through Ducati.

Plus don't forget to get the exhaust servo so you don't get the dreaded engine light. All in all you do have many options. You can either go with a Zard system or termi kit. My bike is still under warranty and bought the Termi's from the dealership. A lot cheaper than getting a rapid bike or power commander and installation here where I live. And btw, if anyone is interested there is a Termi kit with upmap USB for sale in the classifieds

Go ahead and fit the Termi and then install a Rapid Bike Evo

I did this and it works much better than the map that they supply with the system

How hard was it to install the rapid bike evo? How many plugs did you end up having? Do you have to change anything else?
