Hey yes I have always uprated my rear spring for one of the two factory units.
On my first diavel I used the k-105 but found it a little to harsh. So I switched to the K-90 and found the sweet spot. Plus when riding with my wife I can turn up the pre load 5 clicks.
Changing the rear spring was the best thing I did to the diavel.
