Old motorcyclist new to the Ducati world, in Melbourne Australia. I finally bought a Ducati, an Xdiavel S. I thought it was a 2017 model but turns out it is a 2016.(compliance versus when sold new ) Bike had 8000ks on it when i picked it up. It came with Termignoni exhaust system and Nitron shock and a few bits of bling. All takeoff parts came with the bike. I took the bike to a dealer and had them replace the bars with the optional longer reach back bars. I have subsequently done a number of rides and am digging this bike. Its not my only one but I seem to look its way whenever I think of going for a ride😁😁

Welcome to the forum, you have a good choice, please share some pics of the ride if you can.
Thank you Sir,

I spent a number of hours this week fitting a set of mid controls. I have 2 rides arranged for the weekend and cannot wait😁😁😁. Photo of the bike attached.

I think mids wouldn't be bad, but I feel like y'all just didn't give the cruiser stance a fair shot. :)

@Arbee - so how was it ?
I was reluctant to do the mid control conversion because I was worried that the bike would loose its cool factor and it would denigrate from the design intent. However the bike has not lost anything in the conversion. The mids make a huge difference. The bike is easier to ride quickly as i can now move around in the saddle. The suspension feels better because I don't feel every bumps in the road like before. I am much more comfortable on it. It is easily one of the best mods that I have ever done to a bike. I cant wait to ride it again this weekend😁😁. Highly recommended.(y)
