Hey guys. I am doing the conversion on my 2012 Carbon. I am using the new headlight from a 1260.

The plug for the new headlight is completely different as would be expected. I dont want to hack up my main harness (as it costs almost $1,500), and I dont want to canibalize my OE headlight as I am sure someone will have use for it. I will be making my own plug and play harness.

I wanted to know if there would be interest in this harness as I can make quite a few for interested parties. This will be direct plug-and-play. It will plug into the new 1260/XDiavel headlight, and then plug into your factory Gen one plugs. Easy as that. Let me know if you guys are interested.

Price is still to be set, but suggestions are welcome!!!

None at all. Good to know.
I finished my harness today after getting all the components. Tested and works perfectly. Still have to wrap it with harness fabric tape for a nice, clean look.

If anyone ever needs one, I guess let me know. I have enough parts for one more. I won't be getting more since no one seems to be interested.

How big would the difference for a gen 2 be?

How did everything fit?
I am not sure of the difference since I do not have a Gen II headlight to work off. If it has the same plugs as a Gen I, it should work the same with no issues.
Everything fit very well. I was even able to reuse my Puig windscreen with the new light. I will put some pictures below of my final mock-ups.

looks cool.. can post few pics from far ..at least from 10 feet to see how it looks like from few angles

how much are you looking for the adapter?

also how much does a 1260 headlight cost?
So, I was thinking $75 plus shipping would be fair for the harness.
The headlight cost will vary depending on where you get it from. Mine was $900 because I went to the dealer directly. They ordered it from Italy and it arrived in 2 days. Fun fact: Ducati and Ferrari share a private jet to move their parts.
You may be able to find it cheaper, but as these bikes are still somewhat new it will be hard. I looked on eBay for months with no luck.

I'd be interested if you wanted to make another.
