But not sure of the result? Go or no go? Or is the stock way best?

I'm back to the original solution.
Could have just spent the money on a couple of beer cans instead.

Was not satisfied with this solution.

Obviously our friends in Italy "forgot" that this piece of art needs a place to have the license plate somewhere.

@ Steamboat I think I've seen pictures of your bike earlier and use it and some other bike for inspiration. Unlucky for my, my licensplate are to bike and not fit under the seat

I have order a new cheap universal licensplate holder to try another way. Waiting to it drop in my mail box. I'm not going with a side mount, than it rather be the stock way.

I've already change for Customled integrate brake/turn signal, that gives me a empty socket for the rear light I can use for the licensplate light if I ending up with another solution than stock. What other people did, I don't know. Thruly reroute the wiring...

I've been trying a new solutions for the licensplate location.
Not so different from the last try, but perhaps better? It leaves more clearance for the rear wheel.

Agree with you that the first solution looked more elegant. But it built too much down and the danger of the rear wheel hit. The latter is simpler construction and can be angled 360 degrees.

What with a ticket from the police I am not afraid, rather struggling to find a beautiful solution for licensplate placement.

Still trying on a solution. Maybe up under the seat? Just have to modify the holder a bit more ..
But starting to run out of beer in the fridge now ...

I don't care what is legal or not legal according to a square set of rules. Never been stopped. Has also ridden with red (integrated) turn signals.

But then I'm not 17 years old and riding a 125 cc Hooligan's wheelie past the Police anymore.

For me it is no go. I like the factory design of the location. It has its purpose.

It's an old thread, if you're referring to me. Went back to O.E solution and Xdiavel was sold a couple of years ago.

On my Diavel Lamborghini, I have kept the O.E solution, because it has to be on that model. But working these days to change the bulky turn signals to something more discreet and flexible.
