Finally found the time to install these:

Didn't have to remove the swingarm but it does require a jack and two jack stands. They also arrive without instructions.

That said, the end result is fantastic! Yes, the $1300 Ohlins works just as well with better damping too but for me, my shock performs well for how I ride. It was the lack of ground clearance that I took issue with. I was always touching either footpeg or the exhaust down when riding. Even moreso when carrying a passenger.

After installation, I settled on +10mm increase in rear ride height and just like most Ducatis, the bike's turn in response is greatly improved! I should have done this years ago!

I don't have an Ohlins shock. Still riding the OEM.
Ah, OK...was just how I read your earlier post! :)
When you get a chance could you post a couple of pics of the bike with the linkage fitted?
It's a nice bit of bling and much sturdier than the original rods.
