Anyone is interested in rearsets for Diavel 1260/S?
Rearsets which has been developed by a Ducati dealer named de"LIGHT would be sell this or next month.
Attached photo shows prototype of the rearsets.
This rearsets has following four positions, which values mean difference from the stock position.
1. 73mm backward 13mm upward
2. 73mm backward 23mm upward
3. 93mm backward 13mm upward
4. 93mm backward 23mm upward
Peg end of this rearsets is located 115mm from swingarm pivot. Meanwhile end of stock footpeg is located 150mm from swingarm pivot. So overhang of footpeg get 35mm smaller than stock footpeg. Lean angle limit will increase not only by peg's rising but also by overhang's decrease.
I guess this rearsets would cost 1,000USD or 12,000USD.
I hardly wait to buy and install it.

I bought a kito of de"LIGHT rearsets and installed on my Diavel 1260 S as attached photos, then rode today.
When stock footpegs were on, I felt fear if footpegs would hit road surface on corners, actually came off sometimies.
Now I got free of the fear.
If fine day, we can see Mt. Fuji on the 3rd photo view, but unfortunately clouds hid Fuji today.

Concerning Quickshifter Wiring:

Before de"LIGHT rearsets installed, tension come on quickshifter gauge when gear shifted up, and pressure did when gear shifted down.
After the installation, pressure comes when gear shifted up, and tension does when gear shifted down.
So, if quickshifter wiring is remained, tension and pressure signals transmitted to ECU are replaced each other. Quickshifter doesn't work correctly.
de"LIGHT supplied me with a short wire as attached photo, which inverts those signal lines.
Once I disconnected stock couplers of quickshifter, I connected the short wire between those stock couplers.

Nice!! These look better than the ducabike ones IMO....

Do you know if these have an option for folding footrests?

Hi Zhao,

As far as I see de"LIGHT product site, there is no folding footrest.
Foootests are fixed just with 8M bolts as attached diagram and photo. If you find some folding footrests on market, you may be able to use them.

But lean angle increases dramatically by this kit then folding footrests aren't necessary in my biased opinion.

That looks like a great improvement. Expensive at US$860. An added benefit of those pegs is that they will grip your boots much better than the stock rubber. I agree that there is no need for folding pegs with these.
Hi ReidMcT,
Yes, this kit is expensive. Plus those pegs grip shoe soles well as you point.

If Zhao is concerned that un-folding pegs would break when bike falls, that concern remains.
hello or can have ordered this kit I live in France

I will ask de"LIGHT then reply.

de"LIGHT replied that they sell products for only domestic customers.
May I buy the kit then ship it for you?
I will send you additional message via this Forum's Messenger.

I really do hate reviving this old of a thread, especially as my first post…

but, talkriver, if you’re still around, would you be willing to still buy these and ship them to the US? We can work out details via PM if so.
Hi Diavel’s Own
I responded to you via Conversations page at this site.
Sato Racing supply another option as following.
Just want to let everyone who’s interested in these. I was finally able to order a set a few days ago.

I will report back when they arrive and after I install them. Will also give feedback on the initial riding feel.

Also, I have to give a huge shout out to talkriver. He helped me more than I could have ever expected. He’s just over all a great guy to talk to. He helped with dealing with webike and Delight. Thanks again talkriver.
