There are 2 connections under the seat a round one and a oblong one, the oblong one looks like a battery charging connection and not sure what the round one does? Can o connect my to Tom rider to one of these? I have a usb connector that looks like it would fit the oblong one? Any advise welcome ????

The dealer can 100% do it. They just have to hook up their diagnostic tool to it and activate it. A lot of dealers don’t want to do it unless you buy the parts from them, but they totally can and should. Some charge a small fee (15 min of their labor rate) to do it.
