Hi Everyone,

Drop the bike on left side and the footrest forced the quick shift in a way that the driving rod was broken (screw stuck inside quick shift piece, pls see pics). I removed the piece of screw off but damaged threads so putting a new one didnt work well. I had to buy a new quick shift piece.

Does anyone know a way to protect these parts? I guess the left footrest must be flexible in case you scrap it BUT if that was fixed, could help avoiding this issue....

Thoughts?

Thanks.

This works very well, drop mine twice before and it protected stuff very well...

I have a brand new one for sale at a reasonable price if you're interested.

interesting enough I have that on the bike too.... the way the bike hit the ground, i believe hitting the footrest first, was the problem...

Hi femandol.

I also drop the bike on left side
The shift rod broke.
(I changed to the genuine reverse shift)

I changed to the shift lever of Ducabike
Since the position of the shift rod is the same as the genuine one
Added reverse shift support for Ducabike.
In this position, the footrest will not hit the shift rod.
