I've read a lot of posts online about Ducati's being hard to shift and issues with finding neutral. I love this bike but I live in New York City and use the clutch a lot for starts and stops. Since I don't ride much, the riding experience isn't very good with the clutch being heavy and hard...

Just got done pushing my bike uphill for 1/2 mile. Now that I have my breath back....I was traveling about 40 mph and downshifting like I always do...when suddenly what I think is the clutch starts clanking like a bunch of tin cans and 99% of power is lost to the rear wheel. If I high rev it...

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and I recently purchased a 2016 Diavel and I'm hearing a strange sound when releasing the accelerator almost like a squeak or chirping which goes away if the clutch is pressed. Does anybody know what this could be? The bike has done 1600 mile, any advice would be...

Hi Guys, Has anyone suffered clutch issues similar to me? The clutch action happens very soon on the lever, full clutch engagement is achieved within just 20mm from fully pulled lever (i.e. lever on handlebar). Although the clutch is still functional it has changed the feel of the ride and...

After 10.000 km and 8 months of splendid driving my clutch got stuck. I rode without it to the dealer. After check the piston was OK but there was a nut loose on te clutch. The dealer has fixed it but he said there was also a problem in the gearbox. For the moment my bike remains at the dealer...

Bike is back in the shop. I attempted a pass yesterday and I was in 3rd gear. I rolled on the throttle and the bike revved like I was going to GO (you know, like it's supposed to), but there was no power delivered to the motor. I backed off and tested 2nd and 4th as well - same result. I rolled...

Hi guys. I ordered a Diavel dark 2016 model, along with a Ducabike clear clutch cover, which my workshop is currently preparing. However, the workshop contacted me to say that the pressure plates are wrong. The parts supplied are designed for 3 springs, as is correct on the Ducabike web site...

So the fun didn't last very long. On my new Diavel that I picked up on Monday I noticed today that there is a air sucking sound with a liquid gurgling sound coming from my clutch slave cylinder. When I took the front sprocket guard off to get a closer look I also noticed that when I pull the...

Last night whilst out on bike the clutch started to have a notchy feel in the lever about 2/3rds in. It felt like the master cylinder rod where it contacts the lever was shy of lube and it was skating across the rod end. Further inspection reveals I dont think this is the case its more down the...

For the third time I have air in my clutch line. This causes the clutch to engage with the lever just about at the grip. I've had the line bled twice and it looks like I'll have to do it again. Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on how or where the air is getting in? Thanks much.
