Can anyone tell me where the Cat is located on this bike? I am debating on trying to modify the exhaust.

I suppose you know it inside of the exhaust.
If you wounder exactly, I don't know. You have to open it anyway...

Has anyone tried to remove it? Maybe replace it with something else? I was wondering if it would get it a little louder and maybe deeper in tone?

Search in here.
I've read about it, a while ago.

As far as I know it is in the 'boxy' muffler section between the rear wheel and engine
That is why aftermarket exhausts like the termi are so much lighter and smaller as they don't have a cat in the muffler

Thanks for the replies guys. I found a post that shows it inside the box. Does anyone think that cutting out the Cat will help the exhaust get louder and or deeper tone? Has anyone played with the idea of modifying the internals or adding material?

I would guess that it would make it louder by a good bit.
