G'day all, have finally found time to install Tuneboy and cruise control nudge buttons. Can someone please point me in the right direction where the front O2 sensor connector is positioned, any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers

If you are sitting on the bike it is on the left.

Remove the intake grill cover. 2 hex screws.

Remove the side piece next to it.. I think 3 screws.

If you shine a light into there you will see a plug attached to the plastic intake tube inside.

I did not remove the entire fairing to access this i just simply unplugged it and installed the o2 manipulator.

I'm guessing its the same for the tuneboy. Correct me if im wrong.

I'm having the same problem. I found the front O2 sensor but the connector does not match the connector on the nudge buttons. I am assuming I will have to trace the cable back and disconnect it at the other end and the connector here will be the same as on the nudge buttons. Can anyone give any hints as too where this may be?

I am curious of the same...have my Tune Boy and nudge buttons as well, but haven't had time to install. Knowing this ahead of time would be great!

On mine, I removed the battery lower cowling, the connector was located in the upper left hand corner, between the tire and battery, fished the wiring inside the frame, works like a champ.

If anyone is going to do this, it would be great to take pics or better yet a video.

That would be helpfull for others who will be doing it soon.

Agreed ^ but I guess my question still remains. Does the nudge buttons end connector attached to the 02 connector within the left (sitting on bike left) intake? The same place the Shift Tech 02 Manipulator attaches?

Going off what Moose said, Thewolf also said the same thing a while back (it's in the belly pan): http://www.diavel-fo...dpost__p__94424

The part diagrams also show the two O2 sensors (#20) connecting down in that area so I'd at least start looking there. I'm hoping to do my Tuneboy/nudge button install as well as a Battery Tender connector within a few days. I'll try to confirm all this and get a few pics while I'm rooting around down there.

Seems like it would be pretty easy to follow the wire from the header in any case.

The rear O2 sensor connects under the tank. This is the one Wayne had configured (copied from the multi) until my bike was there and he realised how hard it was to get to it so he swapped it in the programming in order to fit the prototype nudge buttons

As mentioned, the front plug is much easier to find and is above the battery at the top of the belly pan compartment. It should be the only connection with the particular plug so should be easy enough to find

Hi Guys,
i did the install of the nudge buttons on the Left side of the handle bars down to the O2 sensor plug just above the battery as per these pics.
Tune works get for smoothing out the ride from 3-4k rpm.
Cruise works more smoothly at 110km/h than at 60kph.
regards,
