Does the Tuneboy enable turning off both the O2 Senors and the exhaust valve?

I was thinking automatically that it does, but wanted to check. Can't see any specific reference to this on the website.

Hads.
I'd bet my left nut that your top LCD display is about to go blank.
That's what happened to me just before my PI trip.

:d

Putting the left nut on the line! Id have to take your word for it then for sure :)

I hope that it happens before the end of the warranty which isn't too far now, (about 3months to go). Would you bet your nut on that ?

It's not a big deal actually. I only have two right nuts.
But if the light is on almost constantly I'd say its about to go in the next ride.
My light would flash very intermittently for over a year. I never new what it was. Then one day it started to come on almost all the time, but it was stil flickering, then that same night the screen went blank.
Check the loom around your head stem, make sure there's no broken/shorting wires.

Yep sounds like what's happening to mine, it is getting more frequent. I'll check the loom.
Thanks for the info Coop.

When mine was repaired they found a broken/possibly shorting wire in the loom and the display was faulty too.
Maybe the shorting wire blew up the display. They weren't really sure.

Same question here. Would really like to know before hitting the "Buy it Now" button.

I have emailed them, no answser as yet (only sent it this AM). I have tried calling a couple of time and got a robotic "we are not available to take your call, please call later". Hope it is the correct number, I found it via white pages.

Does anyone know that has installed one of these if there were options to turn these things off?

From what I understand, the O2 sensors are disabled once you do a Tuneboy tune. Actually, I think that those O2 sensor inputs on the ECU are re utilised for the Cruise Control accelerate/decelerate buttons if you go that route!
But I don't really know much about this stuff, so take no notice of me!!!

ECU coming with Termignoni full line kit have O2 sensors disabled.
It will be also the case for most of tuned engines as O2 are solely here to decrease exhaust emissions. Engine runs leaner and temperature increases but they’re only active at low rpm.

Hi Thanks for your input.
Tuneboy have responded. They are turned off. Yay!
I have had them turned off via Rexxer and prior to that CJR Racing (UK). A reflash would wipe that out though, so just wanted to double check.
"Buy Now" button, here I come.

I have the Tuneboy Hardware for sale if anyone (in Australia preferred) is interested.

WiFi Kit, O2 Sensors and adapters. Lets make it $150. Keep in mind it looks like the current group buy does not include the sensors that nromally sell for $199 from Tuneboy.

Would still need to purchase the relevant Key from Tuneboy to activate the software side of things. Details from them per email:

"On-selling your kit is no problem. They would simply need to purchase the relevant key:
CRUISE CONTROL-ONLY KEY
$ 199.00
CRUISE CONTROL-ONLY KEY FOR DIAVEL/MTS1200
TUNEEDIT KEY
$ 249.00
TUNING-ONLY KEY FOR DIAVEL/MTS1200
TUNEEDIT AND CRUISE CONTROL KEY
$ 399.00
COMBINED TUNING AND CRUISE CONTROL KEY FOR DIAVEL/MTS1200

They will need to contact me directly for this as we haven't listed the keys on our website just yet"

The Cruise-Only shouldn't change anything. Once you load a tuning license and map the O2 sensors and flapper valve are disabled

Just be careful which map you load, if you load the map designed for the switches to be connected you will get erratic cruise control speed changes unless you unplug the front cylinder O2 sensor (the plug is in the belly pan). This plug is used as the input for the nudge (up/down) buttons

Hi, was anyone else in the 2nd group buy? Have you got the kit yet?
I received the key on the 6th and they were shipping after the 10th. Still no sign here of the kit yet in Brisbane.

Hopefully, I should get mine in 8-10 days. There is a drag race coming up near Mumbai on March 8th..9http://www.eliteoctane.com/)
hopefully i will be able to install the new tune successfully in time. Plan to enter the Diavel in the Cruiser class...(wicked laugh). Other mods include a 14T sprocket + a shift tech GP 3 exhaust,

Have never dragged (officially) before...should be fun.
