Has anyone heard yet of a backrest being available or how to fabricate one?

This has been discussed recently in the "modifications" section. Under the Corbin topic.

I'm going to be making one this Winter. If you can wait, I can make an extra, if you like it you will be welcome to it. Just let me know.

I think it's not so much a back rest as it would be a passenger saver. Almost lost my wife off the back on Saturday. I forgot to warn her I was going to crack the throttle. She just slid back up & said it was better than an E ticket ride at Disneyland. Didn't even smack me upside my head :hammerhead

I think I have seen some "lovehandles" the driver can use around the waist like a belt, that the passenger can hold on to.

Might be worth a try....?

Aren't those what my husband has after too many hoagie sandwiches and beers?

In the USA, the Buddy Belt was a great option. It could be modified to put the grab handles in the front or the back, so the passenger could be comfortable either sitting back or hugging the driver. Sadly, BuddyBelt.com has suspended operations.

If anyone wants one, I have an extra that I no longer need, and would sell fairly proced. I'd just have to rummage about and find it.

Still available in the US, PowerMadd Rider Hold-Tite. It is the same concept. I got it at Dennis-Kirk years ago but they still have them.
